Antoinette Massiah is a New York–based freelance cosmetologist, wig stylist, and a proud member of IATSE Local 798. With more than 20 years of experience as a hairdresser, she has built a respected career across Broadway, film, television, commercial, and print. Antoinette currently serves as the Hair Department Supervisor for the Broadway musical Cabaret. She also supervised the hair department for A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Story and has worked on acclaimed Broadway productions including Shucked and Beetlejuice. Known for her ability to style all hair textures, Antoinette has a special passion for hair extensions and wigs. She takes great pleasure in the transformative power of her craft—using skill, creativity, and precision to bring characters and clients’ visions to life. Her clients often say that when it comes to hair, Antoinette has the rare ability to make the impossible possible. Whether she’s building a wig from the ground up, supervising a department, or creating flawless looks on set, Antoinette brings artistry, discipline, and heart to every project.
